Eligibility (Requirements) for undergraduate program:
- Applicant must have to complete SSC in 2020 and HSC in 2022 Or, Complete GCE “O” after November 2015 level and GCE “A” level November 2018
- GPA 4.00 (Out of 5 in SSC) and a total GPA of 23.00 from these five subjects Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Bengali, and English.
- B grade (In Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Bengali, and English) for GCE “O” level and A grade (In Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry) GCE “A” level.
- Only 26 international students will able to admit and study in an academic session. A maximum of 10 students from a single country and a maximum of 5 students in a single department will be allowed.
Eligibility - Candidates having SSC and HSC or their equivalent examination (i.e., not GCE “O” and “A” level) must have a minimum IELTS score of 6.0 or a minimum TOEFL score of 60. You will get all information in the attached notice below of this article about eligibility for admission in BUET.
Application Submission Procedure - The application for admission must be submitted to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the applicant’s own country. It will be forwarded to the Ministry of Education of the Govt. of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh by the Ministry of the Foreign Affairs of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh. Then the application form will forward to the Register, BUET.
Cost of Study - SAARC countries applicant will be charged as per regulations of the Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh for tuition and other fees. For non-SAARC countries, the student admission fee will be charged US$200 and the course registration fee US$50 per credit hour. All additional costs are the same as of Bangladeshi students.

How to Apply for Online Admission for BUET
