Dental admission Eligibility:

Now we discuss about the requirement of BDS (Dental) Admission 2025 session. Students who are completed HSC / Equivalence in 2023 or 2024 and SSC / Equivalence 2020 or 2021 from Science group with at least total GPA 9.00 and 3.50 in each. Applicant must have to acquire GPA 3.50 in HSC Biology. But those are from Tribal or non – tribal from hilly district they have to acquire total GPA 8.00 in HSC and SSC.   • SSC / Equivalence Pass: 2020 or 2021; GPA: At least 3.50
  • HSC / Equivalence Pass: 2023 or 2024; GPA: At least 3.50
  • GPA in total: At least 9.00 (8.00 for Tribal or non – tribal from hilly district).
  • Least GPA in Biology 3.50.
Admission Test Procedure and Numbering System:

Admission Test will be held on 100 marks in the Dental Admission. There are total 100 MCQ type Questions with 1 mark for each and 0.25 is the negative number as punishment of each wrong answer. On the other hand 40 mark is the pass mark. Though the admission test will be held on science subjects with English and GK; those subjects names are Biology, Physics, Chemistry, English, General knowledge, History of Bangladesh and Freedom fight.

Subject wise mark distribution:

  1. Biology – 30
  2. Chemistry – 25
  3. Physics – 20
  4. English – 15
  5. General knowledge and History of Bangladesh and Freedom fight – 10

In addition; total 200 marks will provided depending on HSC and SSC or equivalence result. Whereas, HSC GPA will be multiplied by 25 and SSC GPA will be multiplied by 15. The calculation process is SSC / Equivalence GPA x 15 = 75 and HSC / Equivalence GPA x 25 = 125
